Sandvik, Mastercam's parent company, has announced the acquisition of Barefoot CNC, CAD/CAM Solutions, and CamTech Engineering Services, marking significant milestones in Mastercam’s mission to shape the future of manufacturing. Additionally, Sandvik has acquired CIMCO probing technology and post processor business, a software add-on for CAD/CAM programs that enables CNC touch probes to measure and locate workpieces before machining, improving part quality and reducing set up time.
Barefoot CNC has served North Carolina and South Carolina for more than 30 years, CAD/CAM Solutions has been a trusted partner in Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee, and CamTech Engineering Services has delivered best-in-class solutions in Florida. Integrating these partners strengthens Mastercam’s regional support and enhances the company's commitment to providing CAD/CAM solutions.
